This is the Egyptian Kopesh forged by me and finished by Liam Hoffman of Hoffman Blacksmithing. Liam did an incredible job working on this seriously challenging piece and turning it into a true work of art!

This is a sculpture I built to promote Metals4U, a UK based online steel supplier. The challenge was to build a scultpure from their materials in 12 hours! Sadly, it took me 14, but the result is still cool! 

This is a Damascus ring made by me in 2015 from explosion pattern Damascus, the process having been taught to me by David Lisch.

In October 2017 I invited a fan, Mike to come to the workshop for a few days to do some forging. This is the crazy Damascus "puck" we forged.

In the begining of 2018 I got very excited by the craft of machining and jumped in. Though extremely simple and crude by many people's standards. This one day project was extremely educational and rewqarding for me. 
4340 steel, Cold-Ox finish. 

Here is my first attempt at a frame-lock folding knife. Made in January of 2018. A real challenge - huge amounts to be improved on but an incredible amount was learnt. This served to spark a real interest in the craft of machining.

Brian Mcmanus, the host of the YouTube show: Real Engineering, visited my workshop in January 2018 and I taught him how to forge a bowie knife from 1055 steel.
